Phone and tablet help for seniors in Omaha

A new phone or tablet can feel like a puzzle. I come to your home and set it up the way you like it, then show you the few things you'll actually use.

What I can help with

  • Set up a new iPhone, Android phone or iPad
  • Move contacts and photos from your old phone
  • Make the text bigger and the screen easier to read
  • Turn the ringer and volume up so you hear calls
  • Add favorite contacts for one-tap calling
  • Turn off the beeps and pop-ups you don't need
  • Set up the camera and find your photos again
  • Update your phone safely

Common problems I fix

  • “The words are too small to read.” I’ll make the text and icons bigger, and turn on bold text if it helps.
  • “I can’t hear it ring.” We’ll check the ringer switch, the volume and Do Not Disturb.
  • “My storage is full.” I’ll help you back up photos and clear space without losing anything you want.
  • “I got a new phone and everything is gone.” I’ll move your contacts, photos and messages across.

iPhone, Android or iPad

I work with all of them. Bring whatever you have, even an older model. If you’re thinking about buying a new phone, I can tell you what to look for before you spend money.

Questions

Can you help me choose a new phone?

Yes. I'll ask how you use your phone and suggest what to look for. I don't sell phones, so there's no sales pitch.

Will I lose my photos when I switch phones?

Not if we move them first. I'll check everything is on the new phone before you wipe the old one.

Do you fix cracked screens?

No. I don't do hardware repairs. I'll tell you where to take it.
